We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards, noting that a 3% processing fee will be added to your charter rate if you choose to pay with a credit card. For your convenience, we also accept PayPal and Venmo. Your captain and crew invest significant time and effort in preparing for your Lake Michigan fishing experience, ensuring you have a successful and enjoyable time on the water, whether you're out for some thrilling Chicago salmon fishing or just enjoying the beauty of Lake Michigan. A customary tip of 15%-20% for the crew is both respected and greatly appreciated as a gesture of gratitude. For any changes or cancellations to your reservations, we can accommodate requests up to 21 days before your scheduled trip. Safety comes first — please note that trips are not canceled due to rain; only unsafe lake conditions will lead to cancellations. If the lake is deemed unsafe (typically sustained winds that create waves over 4 feet), your trip can be rescheduled or fully refunded. In the unlikely event of a mechanical failure, we will either transfer you to a partner vessel or provide a full refund plus a 20% discount on your next booking with Reel Chaos Chicago.
